Choosing right kind of group games according to the kind of meeting is very important. It makes the real difference to the team building and it enhances the reputation of the good facilitator. Icebreakers are generally been played to get the meeting started as it eases the mood of the persons and help the new persons in the meeting to get along better.
Therefore, Right choice of group games makes it easier for persons to know each other for example for a group full of young people playing youth group games like action oriented games which require energy will be better. It also depends on the size of the group if the numbers of people in a meeting are more than 20 then playing games by splitting into groups of five members is a better option.
Purpose for which meeting is been held also plays an important role in deciding icebreakers. It is advisable to choose simple group games for a meeting so that every member can enjoy the game equally.
