January 18th, 2009Various Scale for The Truck Replica
Replicas are a good way of understanding the actual thing. A replica can be of any thing like diecast trucks. The best part of a die cast replica is its scale. A scale is the measure of actual dimensions of a truck.

It is simply a ratio. For example, it could be given as 1/64 scale. It actually means that one inch of the replica corresponds to the sixty-four inches on the actual size. It also means that if you would place sixty four truck replicas in a line then it would mean to be the actual length of the truck.
It is very strange that the comparison of the scale is based upon the second number which comes into the ratio. If it is smaller than the other scale, then the scale is considered larger than the other scale.
In most of the Europe, the scale is generally represented as a ratio like 1:64. But it makes no difference and it is the same as the other one. Die cast scales are usually small as compared to any other scale used for the locomotive. It is because the trucks have a larger size than cars.
